PLANINICA (2330m)

The hiking tour to Planinica (2330m) offers an unforgettable experience exploring one of the most impressive peaks in the Durmitor National Park. The tour begins at Zminje Lake, where you’ll embark on a journey through the pristine nature and wilderness of Durmitor.

The ascent to Planinica provides an opportunity to visit Zminje Lake. From the end of the dirt road in the south direction through dense spruce forest (about 5 minutes), you’ll reach this beautiful lake. It is located at 1,520 meters above sea level (lower than Jablan Lake) at the source of the Mlinski Stream, with dimensions of 230 x 120 meters and a maximum depth of 7.7 meters.

Planinica ranks among the top 10 highest peaks of Durmitor, offering stunning views from its summit and along the approach trail.
