Guided Tour
Explore the breathtaking landscapes of Montenegro’s Komovi region on our guided hiking tour of the lesser-known circular trail around Komovi.
Starting from Eko Katun Štavna (1720m), the journey meanders through lush forests and alongside the Ljubaštica River, leading to the grassy plateau of Ljuban. Here, explore the mysterious tombstones of Bjelaga, bearing witness to the region’s tumultuous history.
Continue towards Rogam plateau, passing by Rogamska cirque with stunning views of Ljevorečki and Kučki Kom peaks. Quench your thirst at the pristine Crni izvori (Black Springs), a vital water source nestled amidst Komovi’s majestic cliffs.
Ascend Rogam peak (2113m) via Cafa od Pricelja pass, where panoramic vistas await showcasing the surrounding katuns and mountains. Descend into Popovici katun, once bustling with life and now adorned with the ruins of ancient huts, including those of Montenegrin duke Marko Miljanov.
Traverse the wilderness along Vasojevićki Kom’s east slopes, passing through Borovi pod with views of cross-border mountains and the wild Mojanska river valley. Conclude the journey by descending through Mačak beech forest back to Eko Katun Štavna.
Join us on this immersive hiking experience and discover why Komovi is revered as the “king among mountains.”
