BOKA BAY CIRCLE – E-BIKE TOUR

This circular route encompasses a mix of coastal roads, charming villages, historical landmarks,
and breathtaking viewpoints, providing cyclists with an immersive experience of the region’s
natural beauty and cultural heritage.

The tour starts in the historic town of Kotor, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its
well-preserved medieval architecture and stunning waterfront.

Segment 1: Kotor to Perast
From Kotor, we begin our journey by pedaling along the scenic coastal road that hugs the
shores of Boka Bay. As we cycle northward, we pass by picturesque villages, lush greenery, and
towering mountains that frame the azure waters of the bay. Along the way, we may catch
glimpses of historic stone churches, olive groves, and traditional stone houses that dot the
landscape.
After a leisurely ride, we arrive at the charming town of Perast, known for its Baroque
architecture and two tiny islets—Our Lady of the Rocks and St. George. Here, we have the
opportunity to explore the town’s cobblestone streets, visit historic landmarks, and soak in
panoramic views of the bay from the waterfront promenade.

Segment 2: Perast to Risan
Continuing our journey, we pedal onward to the town of Risan, located on the northeastern
shore of Boka Bay. This stretch of the route takes us through tranquil coastal landscapes, with
sweeping views of the bay and the surrounding mountains.
Upon reaching Risan, we have the chance to explore the town’s archaeological sites, including
the ancient Roman mosaics of the Villa Urbana, which date back to the 2nd century AD.

We can also take a break to enjoy a delicious meal at a waterfront restaurant, sampling fresh
seafood and local specialties.

Segment 3: Risan to Tivat
The final leg of the tour takes us southward along the eastern shoreline of Boka Bay, towards
the vibrant coastal town of Tivat. This stretch of the route offers stunning vistas of the bay, with
sailboats gliding across the shimmering waters and the rugged peaks of Mount Vrmac in the
distance. As we arrive in Tivat, you can explore the city, visit cultural attractions, or simply relax and
unwind by the waterfront before concluding our e-bike adventure.
