KAPETANOVO LAKE – MANITO LAKE – STOŽAC (2.141m)

The hiking trail to the summit of Stožac (2,141 meters above sea level) in the Moračke mountains offers a spectacular adventure through untouched nature in Montenegro, providing outstanding views of numerous peaks, lakes, and mountain landscapes. The trail begins at Kapetanovo Lake.

The path towards Stožac traverses diverse landscapes, including forested trails, grassy slopes, and rocky sections that require hiking skills. As you ascend towards the summit, panoramic views unfold, showcasing Vojinovac, Pocki Vrh, Zagradac, Lastva, Štit, Katun Kapa, Lola, Bobotov Kuk, Ilijin Vrh, Veliki Žurim, Vojnik, Manito Lake, Borovnik, Maganik, Orlojevac, the Mrtvica Canyon, Tali, Tornu, and many other stunning mountain destinations.

On the return journey, we can visit Manito Lake.
